Well this year is my 40th class reunion ,looking forward to bringing my band up to play in my hometown. My Grandpa was mayor for 40 yrs and my dad helped start the bbq along with a few others .Sad top see the bbq pit is gone ,I remember going and starting the caols at 6 am and turning roasts till 12 . People would catch a train from Denver, just for the sunday bbq and watch the roping at the fairgrounds .

I grew up there, my great grand father was a pioneer up on the Troublesome in the late 1800's, his 4 son's and 1 daughter grew up in Grand county and married folks from that area. I have been back many times over the years and couldn't have had a better place to have spent my youth.
